What is the difference between a snatch block and a sheave block?

A snatch block has a side gate to allow easy fitting or removal of rope. A sheave block requires the rope to be fed through over the sheave.

Can I replace the sheave in my Sheave Block?

Yes. Please contact Absolute Lifting and Safety.

Are test certificates supplied with a KITO PWB Sheave Block?

Yes. KITO PWB Sheave Blocks are supplied with Test Certificates compliant to AS 2089.

Can wire rope be used in a Manilla Sheave?

No. KITO PWB recommends the yellow painted sheaves which are designed specifically for wire rope.
